London City Lionesses have signed two-time Ballon d'Or winner Alexia Putellas as part of summer investment in players, BBC Sport reported. The Kent club competes in the Barclays Women's Super League, the top tier of English women's football. The Ballon d'Or is the annual award for the world's best player.
