Disney names Karandeep Anand as first chief technology officer

Disney has hired Karandeep Anand as its first chief technology officer, the executive in charge of technology strategy, Variety reported. He joins in the newly created senior executive vice-president post effective 2 October. Variety said he will report directly to chief executive Josh D'Amaro.
