Stephanie Cole, Tenko and Doc Martin actor, dies aged 84

Deadline reported 18 September 2026 that Stephanie Cole has died aged 84, announced by agent John Grant in a statement shared with press. The OBE holder played Dr Beatrice Mason in Tenko from 1980 and Mrs Featherstone in 10 episodes of Open All Hours, returning for 2013's Still Open All Hours. She appeared in Doc Martin and Coronation Street.
