Duncan Sheik, ‘Barely Breathing’ singer, dies at 56

Duncan Sheik, best known for his 1996 debut single 'Barely Breathing', has died aged 56. His family said on Instagram on 18 September he died the previous night, Billboard reported. 'Barely Breathing' peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent 55 weeks on the chart. It earned him a Grammy nomination for best male pop vocal.
