Storm water wetted Caravaggio's Bacchus case at Uffizi in Florence

Storm water leaked into the Uffizi Gallery in Florence on 17 September and wetted the protective case holding Caravaggio's Bacchus, the museum said. Euronews reported water entered under a skylight in a room holding seven 17th-century paintings. The museum said water hit only the outer glass; no damage was reported.
