Dowson says Saints better equipped to defend Prem title

Northampton Saints director of rugby Phil Dowson told BBC Radio Northampton's Saints Show the champions are better prepared to defend their Prem Rugby title. Saints beat Exeter 26-17 in June after finishing top, BBC Sport reported, having slumped to eighth after their 2024 triumph. Saracens in 2019 were the last side to defend the title.
