Australian Man Denies Murder Charge in Thai Teen's Death

45-year-old Australian Simon Peter Carman pleaded not guilty Friday in Pattaya provincial court to murder, hiding a body, and taking a minor — someone under 18 — for indecent purposes in the death of 17-year-old Tunchanok Donhomla. Police say she died by suffocation, or lack of air. The court set the next hearing for 12 October.
