South Korea Says No Troops for Iran War

South Korea will stay out of the Iran war, President Lee Jae Myung said Sept. 18, 2026, at the Blue House. He ruled out sending troops or military equipment, whether for fighting or support roles. His wording gives Washington little room to frame a support mission — like logistics or transport — as something that would not count as involvement.
