Waymo targets driverless rides in Singapore by 2028

Waymo plans to offer fully driverless public rides in Singapore by 2028. Its cars arrive in the coming months to map streets, followed by supervised testing — with a safety driver on board — in 2027. Full passenger service still needs approval from Singapore's Land Transport Authority.
