Ruffnation to launch hip-hop vinyl subscription on Oct. 31

Ruffnation Entertainment CEO Chris Schwartz will launch Vinyl Societe at midnight on Oct. 31, billed as the first hip-hop vinyl subscription service. The pre-order-only service will charge members $40 to $45 a month, Schwartz confirmed to Billboard. He set a first-year target of 7,000 to 10,000 subscribers, with a bonus CD and poster planned.
