Eric Schrier exits Disney executive role after 26 years to launch production company

Eric Schrier is leaving as Disney's President of Direct-to-Consumer, meaning streaming, International Originals, Strategic Programming and Emerging Media after 26 years at FX and Disney, Deadline reported 17 September 2026. Disney Entertainment Television chairman Debra OConnell disclosed in an internal memo that Schrier will launch a production company based at Disney Entertainment Television.
