$2,000, no permits: Osubor made feature as film school

Providence filmmaker Matthew Osubor shot debut Big Daddy's Flowers for $2,000, without permits or a paid cast, The Hollywood Reporter reported on 17 September 2026. The Oldenburg Film Festival lists it at 74 minutes and notes Alexandre Rockwell's mentorship. Osubor proposed the feature as film school instead of classes, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
