Paramount seeks $1.88 billion bond from states blocking Warner Bros. Discovery deal

Deadline reported 17 September that Paramount has asked twelve states suing to block its $110 billion Warner Bros. Discovery takeover to post a $1.88 billion bond, a financial guarantee. It would cover a $7 million-a-day ticking fee, a daily delay payment, to Warner from 1 October. A judge will rule 24 September.
