Pochettino names 13 uncapped players in US squad

Mauricio Pochettino announced on 17 September a US squad for friendlies against Peru, Chile, Mexico and Canada with 13 uncapped players, yet to make a senior appearance. Four of five forwards are uncapped. The newcomers average 19 years and six months. It follows a 4-1 World Cup last-16 exit, with Pochettino staying as coach through 2030.
