Peter Max, psychedelic artist of the 1960s, dies at 88

Peter Max died on 14 September in a Manhattan hospital in New York, aged 88, Reuters reported. His son Adam Max confirmed the death to The New York Times in New York. Max's bright psychedelic work came to symbolise the 1960s, The Washington Post in Washington reported. He had lived with dementia for at least a decade, Reuters reported.
