Rubén Blades to receive Icon Award at 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Billboard and Telemundo announced on Sept. 17 that Rubén Blades will receive the Icon Award at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards. The ceremony airs from the James L. Knight Center in Miami on Oct. 22 at 8 p.m. ET on Telemundo. Blades will also join an Icon Q&A at Latin Music Week, Oct. 19-22 in Miami Beach.
