Next week, a UK review led by Prof Peter Fonagy is expected to recommend NHS help for ADHD symptoms based on need, not automatic formal diagnosis. Clinics and medication would go first to the most severely affected, as 800,000 wait for assessment. The aim: separate support from diagnosis to ease demand.
