CookUnity put eight chefs inside five Manhattan bodegas, delis and corner stores on Sept. 17 to serve free signature dishes, Variety reported. The lunch ran 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., while supplies lasted, according to advance listings. Variety reported guests could try bites and take home sealed meals.
