Bain Capital Ventures says artificial general intelligence has arrived, defined as AI agents — software that can act on its own — doing many tasks as well as people. Partner Kevin Zhang named infrastructure, healthcare, physical AI (robots and machines) and security as themes for the post-AGI era, backing computing power until intelligence is "too cheap to meter."
