Kristersson Resigns After Swedish Election Defeat

Ulf Kristersson resigned as Sweden's prime minister after his right-wing bloc lost the election. Opposition leader Magdalena Andersson's centre-left alliance is projected to take 176 of 349 seats in the Riksdag, Sweden's parliament. She has opened coalition talks to form a government, pending certification this weekend, but her slim majority allows little dissent.
