House committee votes 36-0 to advance ticket anti-bot bill

The House Energy and Commerce Committee voted 36-0 on September 16 to advance the MAIN Event Ticketing Act (H.R. 2713) to the full House, as amended. The bill would amend the 2016 Better Online Ticket Sales Act to tighten bot controls on online ticket sales. It still requires a House vote.
