Ireland joins Scotland and Wales in bid to enter England's PWR
Ireland has made a combined bid with Scotland and Wales to enter Premiership Women's Rugby, England's top women's club competition. The IRFU confirmed its interest after PWR opened expressions of interest in April. Lynne Cantwell, Irish Rugby's head of women's strategy, called a future British and Irish league "a massive opportunity". A decision is expected within three to four months.
