PS5 update adds Community Activity widget with Trending Now and Top 10

Sony released PlayStation 5 system software 26.06-14.00.00 on 16 September 2026. It adds an optional Community Activity widget to the Welcome Hub. Trending Now lists 10 rising multiplayer games or modes with reason for inclusion. Top 10 ranks the 10 most popular games over the last week by country or region, without beta's per-game player counts.
