Netflix anime viewing up 39% to 4.64bn hours, MPA reports

Japanese anime viewing on Netflix rose 39% to 4.64 billion hours between H1 2023 and H1 2026, against 4.5% growth for total viewing, Media Partners Asia data reported by Deadline show. MPA's analysis of Netflix's What We Watched reports puts anime's share of all hours at 4.75%.
