
Turkey raids LGBTQ+, HIV groups
Police in Turkey raided LGBTQ+ rights and HIV-advocacy offices in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Aydin and Mersin. Justice Minister Akin Gurlek called it 'My Family is Safe.' Rights groups say over 100 were detained, 62 held before trial — known as remand. Prosecutors allege obscenity and nonprofit-law violations. Further rulings will clarify scope.
