Kraft says Sheeran sought $2 million matched aid commitment

Gillette Stadium owner Robert Kraft said on Sept. 16 that Ed Sheeran asked him to commit $2 million to match Sheeran's own humanitarian donation. Kraft said the call came earlier that day, before Macklemore's $1 million challenge. Kraft did not say if or when he would commit funds, or name beneficiaries, Billboard reported.
