Manchester United blow 2-0 lead to exit Carabao Cup to Brighton

Manchester United exited the Carabao Cup after losing to Brighton at Old Trafford despite leading 2-0. The third-round tie was played on 16 September. It is United's first home defeat from 2-0 up since Tottenham's comeback on 4 September 1976, when John Pratt scored the winner. Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler said: "I thought we deserved to win."
