Paramount preparing to leave California if merger case unsettled by 1 October

Paramount has told Mayor Karen Bass and Attorney General Rob Bonta it is preparing to leave California, according to TheWrap. Chairman David Ellison warned the move could follow if its merger case with Warner Bros Discovery is not settled by 1 October, according to TMZ. The threat follows California's July suit to block the $110bn deal, according to Bonta's office.
