Preserving Assisi, a digital platform documenting the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi in central Italy, has launched, ARTnews reported. It lets users virtually explore the space, described as a "digital twin", a precise virtual copy, by ARTnews. The project uses an integrated system for digitisation, management and use of data, Askanews reported.
