Madonna to open VMAs for first time since 2003

Madonna will open the MTV Video Music Awards on 27 September, her first opening slot since 2003, Pitchfork reported. The show airs on CBS at 7:30 PM EST. Her last opening performance paired "Like a Virgin" and "Hollywood" with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
