Guy Pearce to play violent pub owner in Irish thriller Bottle

Guy Pearce will play Jimmy, a historically violent pub owner who holds young intruder Cillian overnight, in Irish thriller Bottle, Variety reported on 16 September. Cillian breaks into Jimmy's bar for a pint and must survive the night, Variety reported. The film will shoot in Ireland from Roberto Forte and Eamonn O'Brien's screenplay, Variety reported.
