Chinese silkworm artist Liang Shaoji dies at 81

Chinese artist Liang Shaoji, who made art with live silkworms, died on 13 September at age 81 following an illness, ARTnews reported on 16 September. He had worked with silkworms since the late 1980s, ArtReview reported, with the silk they spun forming part of the work. He was born in 1945.
