Lionsgate, Neon and FilmNation agree to fund producer healthcare

Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, Neon and FilmNation have agreed to fund producer healthcare and upfront development fees after requests from Producers United, Variety reported on 16 September 2026. Health cover will run through the MPI Non-Affiliate Agreement, an industry benefits plan, before, during and into post-production, with a reimbursement option, Variety reported.
