House Oversight Votes 41-0 to Recommend Contempt for Black in Epstein Inquiry

The House Oversight Committee voted 41-0 to recommend contempt of Congress, formal punishment for defying subpoenas, for billionaire Leon Black in its Jeffrey Epstein inquiry. Investigators wanted his testimony and secrecy agreements after he missed a Sept. 3 deposition, or closed questioning. Speaker Mike Johnson must allow a full House vote.
