Heartbreakers to perform under name for first time since Tom Petty's death

Founding members Mike Campbell, Benmont Tench, Stan Lynch and Ron Blair will open the Americana Awards with Chris Stapleton before receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, Rolling Stone reported on 16 September. Steve Ferrone and Scott Thurston will join to close the show. The line-up has not billed itself as the Heartbreakers since Petty's death.
