Vetter asks US Supreme Court to keep worldwide termination ruling

Songwriter Cyril Vetter asked the US Supreme Court to reject a publisher challenge to a January 12 Fifth Circuit ruling that US termination — the right to reclaim rights signed away — returns rights worldwide. His September 14 brief in opposition answers a June 11 petition by Capitol CMG, Essential, Warner-Tamerlane and BMG, Music Business Worldwide reported.
