Live Nation keeps Pukkelpop ownership but barred from running festival for 10 years

Live Nation will retain formal ownership of Pukkelpop but will not operate it for 10 years, under binding commitments accepted by Belgium's Competition Authority on 11 September 2026. Operation passes to founder Chokri Mahassine's organisation, with independent control of booking and ticket pricing. Music Business Worldwide reported the terms on 16 September. A monitoring trustee will check compliance.
