Google confirms Pixel phone flaw was used in targeted attacks

Google says attackers used a previously unknown flaw, CVE-2026-58704, against Pixel phones in small, targeted attacks. The bug in the cellular modem allowed access to phone data without any user action, escaping its isolated area. Google has issued a fix and did not say who was behind the attacks.
