Overwatch plans to run 5v5 and 6v6 side by side

Game director Aaron Keller and associate game director Alec Dawson said at BlizzCon 2026 that Overwatch plans to keep 5v5 and 6v6 modes alongside each other. The modes are matches played with teams of five or six players. Overwatch marked its 10-year anniversary at BlizzCon 2026.
