Patricio Guzmán, director of The Battle of Chile, dies at 85

Chilean documentary director Patricio Guzmán died in Paris on September 15 at age 85, Deadline reported on September 16. He directed the three-part 1975-79 The Battle of Chile: The Struggle of an Unarmed People, which chronicled Allende's final year and the 1973 coup, Deadline reported. His wife confirmed the death to AFP.
