iPhone 18 Pro gets variable-aperture 48MP main camera

Apple's iPhone 18 Pro has a 48-megapixel main camera with an adjustable opening, widening to f/1.48 from f/1.8 to gather more light, with settings at f/1.8, f/2.8 and f/4. Apple's camera app adds manual exposure controls. The Verge's Sept. 16 review calls it the phone's biggest new feature.
