Australian MPs and senators form Parliamentary Friends of Books and Reading

MPs and senators in Canberra have formed the Parliamentary Friends of Books and Reading with Australia Reads. The group will be co-chaired by Dr Carina Garland MP and Senator David Pocock. Australia Reads brought parliamentarians together with publishers, booksellers, librarians and authors to discuss lifting reading rates in Australia.
