York Knights sign Cody Hunter on permanent two-year deal

York Knights have signed Australian half-back Cody Hunter from Newcastle Thunder on a two-year permanent deal after his April loan. The 24-year-old playmaker scored 10 tries in 11 second-tier games before stepping up, BBC Sport reported. York finished 10th in their debut Super League season after winning their final two matches.
