Oxfordshire village votes 285 to 26 to leave UK

Piddington, an Oxfordshire village of 358 people, voted to leave the United Kingdom and calls itself the Principality of Piddington. Royal Central reported 312 ballots cast on 15 September, with 285 for leaving, 26 for staying and one spoiled. The result was declared just after 7am on 16 September. Signs reading 'The Principality of Piddington' were hung at entrances.
