Gaza City Collapse Kills 19 in War-Weakened Building
At least 19 people, including five children, died September 16 when a war-damaged building housing about 100 displaced Palestinian families collapsed in Gaza City. The multi-storey block, earlier hit by Israeli strikes, fell onto neighboring tents holding families. Twenty-five injured reached hospital. Tens of thousands still shelter in similarly weakened buildings, raising risk of further collapses.
