Warsh Leaves Door Open to More Rate Hikes Before 2026 Ends

At his first FOMC meeting, Fed Chair Kevin Warsh held the federal funds rate steady at 3.5%–3.75%, as expected. The signal: he didn't rule out further increases before year-end 2026.
