ITV commissions Jodie Whittaker legal drama In Contempt

Deadline reported 16 September 2026 that ITV has commissioned In Contempt, a high-stakes legal drama starring Jodie Whittaker as barrister Olivia Savareid. Hartswood Films is producing in association with ITV Studios, which holds international distribution. Written by Steve Thompson, it will air on ITV and STV and stream on ITVX and STV Player.
