Middlesex chair Richard Sykes to resign after three years

Richard Sykes is set to resign as Middlesex chair after three years. He has told the board, Guardian reporting says. Former captain Mike Gatting led ex-player calls for him to stand down. Interim chief executive Julie Harrington has accepted the resignation and will lead the search for a successor.
