Vladimir Kuzichkin, the KGB officer, meaning a Soviet security officer, at the centre of Ben Macintyre's Redwood, offers Soviet and Iranian-allied secrets to a British doctor for treatment to have sex again. He was known to MI6, meaning Britain's foreign intelligence service, as 'Redwood', the Guardian reports.
