Duchess of Edinburgh starts Zambia visit in travel clothes after baggage lost

Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh began her five-day official visit to Zambia in what she called her "aeroplane clothes" after her baggage was mislaid. She departed Heathrow on the evening of 13 September 2026, as listed in the Court Circular, the official record of working royal engagements, and carried out her first engagement in her travel outfit.
